Get to know the people behind INADRKen Frank
Ken Frank
President
Kenneth Frank holds a J.D. in law from the University of Colorado and a MA in Conflict Resolution from Columbia College. He developed the first undergraduate degree program in Conflict Resolution & Legal Studies in the state of Georgia, located at Brenau University. One of his greatest passions is to support and advance mediation competitions that engage and empower students to use mediation to resolve conflicts peacefully. He has been involved in mediation tournaments since their inception in 2000 and he has served on the inaugural Board of Directors for INADR as well as the chair of the Undergraduate Tournament Committee. He received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Georgia, Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia for his many years of work in mediation training. He is also a registered neutral with the state of Georgia, in the United States and is co-founder of the consulting group, Transforming Mediation
History
INADR was founded in 2002 and is the first organization that sponsored mediation tournaments where students were the mediators in an international competition. Since that time, INADR tournaments have been hosted in more than sixteen countries and have had participants and representatives from over fifty countries.
