Morenike Obi-Farinde
Mrs. Morenike Obi-Farinde is the managing partner of the law firm of ADIGUN OGUNSEITAN & CO. in Lagos, Nigeria. She is actively involved in corporate and commercial litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Processes with particular emphasis on Mediation and Arbitration.
She is an alumnus of the Universities of Jos and Lagos where she obtained her LLB (Hons) and LLM degrees respectively. She has also been awarded a Post-graduate Certificate in International Dispute Resolution from the University of Dundee. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and an approved Tutor.
Morenike is also member of the training faculty at the Lagos Multidoor Court House (LMDC) where she has successfully mediated and sat as sole arbitrator in several matters. She is a member and accredited Tutor of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA), and a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) accredited mediator.
Morenike is the Founder of the ODRAfrica Network and a certified on-line Mediator.
History
INADR was founded in 2002 and is the first organization that sponsored mediation tournaments where students were the mediators in an international competition. Since that time, INADR tournaments have been hosted in more than sixteen countries and have had participants and representatives from over fifty countries.
