Christy L. Foley

Christy L. Foley holds a J.D. from the City University of New York and a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. She currently runs the Conflict Resolution & Analysis Graduate Certificate Program at the University of Central Florida. She has coached students in INADR tournaments since 2021 and currently serves as the Chair of the INADR Undergraduate Tournament Committee. She also earned the INADR Coach of the Year Award in 2023. Christy served as Chair of Florida’s Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee for six years, spent a year serving as Chair of The Florida Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and founded a virtual mediation firm called E-Mediation Services in 2018. Christy is licensed to practice law in both Florida and New York.

History

INADR was founded in 2002 and is the first organization that sponsored mediation tournaments where students were the mediators in an international competition. Since that time, INADR tournaments have been hosted in more than sixteen countries and have had participants and representatives from over fifty countries.
